• Research alternative options for mentally challenged people with more severe difficulties.
  
• Provide training on caregiver techniques, independence skills and educational and simulation games.
  
• Develop self help skills for mentally challenged children, especially with regards to showering and dressing.
  
• Develop leisure activities with caregivers most appropriate for mentally challenged people.                 
  
• Work with caregivers to develop educational and self help skills.
  
• Research simple vocational activities for mentally challenged people.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (masters or Ph.D.) in Special Needs Education.
  
• Prior experience performing trainings for mentally challenged people.
  
• Minimum of seven years experience in the area of special needs.
  
• Excellent participatory planning/facilitation skills and experience in using participatory methodologies.
  
• Excellent writing and communication skills,Excellent interpersonal skills.
