Job Description |
|
|
- Support and deputise for the CEO in all his duties.
- Provide strategic management and leadership to the international programme teams.
- Liaise closely and effectively with other functions impacting on programme quality.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Qualifications:
- University degree level or equivalent professional experience. Post graduate degree welcomed.
- International (general) management experience including in an executive management role.
- Solid experience from the development sector including direct experience of program delivery, ideally in a wide range of locations.
- Knowledge of international development context, the NGO sector, a sound knowledge of risk management, strategic planning tools and methodologies and good project management (delivery and financial) are essential.
- Proven skills in leadership and management honed in development and emergency response situations, crisis management with an ability to work under pressure, solve problems and take decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.
- Advocacy skills and a second European such as French or Spanish are desirable.
