Job Description |
|
|
- Build strategic relationships with NGOs, government and private sector entities and individuals in the sub-region who have an important role to play in improving
governance for peace, and in advocating for more effective peacebuilding.
- Devise and conduct research on specific aspects of governance – to be identified in collaboration with colleagues.
- Use research methods which are transparent, ethical and participatory.
- During the initial period, the post-holder will not have line management responsibilities; but commence when funding is secured.

Qualifications:
- With a relevant post-graduate degree, (preferably in a subject related to peacebuilding), and at least three years experience of working in a peacebuilding environment, you also have solid experience of devising strategy and raising funds.
- Can explain the role of governance in peacebuilding, and demonstrate that s/he understands practical ways in which governance can be improved.
- Understands how international institutions work in peacebuilding environments, and can explain how s/he would use this knowledge to influence change in such institutions.
- Has experience of all strategic financial management of a programme or a business.
