• Contributes to programme design and implementation, evaluation of programme/ project activities, data analysis and progress reporting.
  
• Under the guidance of the Health Specialist and Chief Health Section, support in the provision of technical advisory services to the government counterparts and State Offices.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Medicine preferably with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additional degree in Public Health is desirable.
  
• Two years of professional work experience in maternal health and public health project administration, monitoring and evaluation.
  
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of the local working language of the duty station is an asset.
  
• Excellent and in-depth technical knowledge and skills within the maternal health sub-sector, including school health and adolescent reproductive and sexual health services (ARSH).
  
• Training ability and good: understanding of adult learning theory, curriculum development, and innovative use of teaching tools.
