• Provide technical support to state office programs in the area of health, with a primary focus on technical assistance (capacity building), monitoring with CRS partners in maternal and child health, nutrition, and polio.
  
• Support new proposal development following standard CRS proposal development guidance.
  
• Provide leadership and mentoring to State Office in health programming.
  
• Develop relationships with research institutions with which CRS can collaborate to advance national strategic priorities, the learning agenda and program quality objectives.
  
• Liaise with donors and explore and secure funding for CRS/India’s health programs.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Public Health or related field.
  
• Minimum of five years of experience in providing support to health programming.
  
• Experience in project development, working with donors and partner organizations, monitoring and evaluation, training and strong writing skills as demonstrated through previous experience researching and writing public donor proposals, progress reports, evaluations and final reports.
  
• Proven experience of working with Government of India, health agencies and networks.
  
• Experience in designing and implementing participatory planning and evaluation methods.
