 Job Description
 
  • Maintaining a database of publications using reference manager software.
  • Search & obtain journal membership and order publications/documents according to research interests of SANCD (with an emphasis on free/open-source materials).
  • Maintaining and updating of data on the Network website.
  • Providing an information awareness service for chronic diseases
  • Archiving, organizing and maintaining a library of existing collections of journals and books and supervising/monitoring access to staff.
  • Designing data entry forms, Carrying out data entry for research projects.
  • Contributing to the general activities of the Network, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and help promote the objectives of the Network.
 Candidate Profile
 

Qualifications:

  • A background in health research.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. information or library sciences, archiving).
  • Experience of conducting literature searches.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Training in website management, ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Familiarity with electronic publication databases.
