Job Description |
|
|
- Maintaining a database of publications using reference manager software.
- Search & obtain journal membership and order publications/documents according to research interests of SANCD (with an emphasis on free/open-source materials).
- Maintaining and updating of data on the Network website.
- Providing an information awareness service for chronic diseases
- Archiving, organizing and maintaining a library of existing collections of journals and books and supervising/monitoring access to staff.
- Designing data entry forms, Carrying out data entry for research projects.
- Contributing to the general activities of the Network, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and help promote the objectives of the Network.

Qualifications:
- A background in health research.
- A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. information or library sciences, archiving).
- Experience of conducting literature searches.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Training in website management, ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Familiarity with electronic publication databases.
