Job Description |
|
|
- Develop a methodology for cost recovery for a specific service unit. He/she shall plan, study, collect and analyze operational data of a certain service unit to determine the costs of the business activity.
- Coordinate with all levels of the service unit, gather data and examine the production costs. It also includes gaining understanding, monitoring the activity, explaining, and reconciling variances; and communicating results and identifying resources and solutions to control gaps.
- Design and implement strategies, best practices, and process improvements throughout to control any variances.
- Set up and produce various reports outlining results of the analysis, specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of its services.
- Identify best practices and process improvements as the need arises.
- Prepare budget of certain project proposals for submission to potential donors and ensure full cost recovery.
- Prepare and analyze certain financial reports for management, donors and other stakeholder’s information.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Accounting, a Certified Public Accountant.
- At least 2 yrs experience in cost accounting preferably in a multi-national or non-profit oriented organization.
- High level of computer literacy and experience in using computerized financial solutions; High level of interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
- High level of analytical ability.
