Job Description |
|
|
- Reach India wishes to recruit for the position Business development Officer (BDO) to be based at Kolkata office.
- The post is for 3 years initial contract which may likely to be renewed. BDO will report to the CEO.
- S/he is responsible to develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- S/he will undertake market research and market already available for Reach India’s training products.
- S/he will work with Manager, Resources for all fund generation, program planning, organizing.
- S/he is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring the business plan, annual budget and programs for the Reach India’s Service center network.
- Market Reach India’s product and work in its area of operations and liaison with government, donors, NGOs, for building an excellent state level Reach India business Development Service presence.
- Manage and coordinate all marketing, promotional activities with service center network conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products,analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
- Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
- Determine and manage the marketing budget develop pricing strategy.
Liaison with media and advertising.
- The other responsibilities include, organize workshop & promotional event, Preparation of concept note/Proposal writing for mobilizing matching grant with support from Manager Resources.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- The candidate should be a Post-graduate Management, commerce economics.
- Have 2-3 years experience in development sector, especially in SHGs development, Livelihood and microfinance.
- Strong organizational, communication and team-building & networking skills.
- Demonstrated strong marketing skills.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office is essential.
- Fluency in English & Hindi required; fluency in other regional languages will be an added advantage.
- Key Competencies,Technical marketing skills.
- Proven experience in customer and market research relevant product knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill , organization and planning.
- Problem analysis and problem-solving formal presentation skills persuasiveness.
