 Job Description
 
  • Reviews and approves source selection documentation.
  • Participates in updating procurement policies, procedures and training materials as needed.
  • Maintains hard copy and electronic procurement files.
  • Manages pre-qualified vendor pools.
  • Provides training for Business Services and department staff in purchasing rules and procedures.
  • Assists in the development of solicitation documents for procurements, e.g. RFQs, RFPs, bid forms, etc.
  • Assists in the analysis of supplier bids and proposals as needed, provides training and support  related to EDC’s Procurement Policies and procedures.
 Candidate Profile
 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Significant prior experience with procurement procedures and regulations, preferably in a nonprofit or university environment. 
  • Familiarity with federal procurement regulations. 
  • Familiarity with standard Windows software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; capable of building strong, collaborative relationships. 
  • Position requires high standards, sound business judgment, financial expertise, and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
