Job Description |
|
|
- Reviews and approves source selection documentation.
- Participates in updating procurement policies, procedures and training materials as needed.
- Maintains hard copy and electronic procurement files.
- Manages pre-qualified vendor pools.
- Provides training for Business Services and department staff in purchasing rules and procedures.
- Assists in the development of solicitation documents for procurements, e.g. RFQs, RFPs, bid forms, etc.
- Assists in the analysis of supplier bids and proposals as needed, provides training and support related to EDC’s Procurement Policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant prior experience with procurement procedures and regulations, preferably in a nonprofit or university environment.
- Familiarity with federal procurement regulations.
- Familiarity with standard Windows software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; capable of building strong, collaborative relationships.
- Position requires high standards, sound business judgment, financial expertise, and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
