Job Description |
|
|
- Coordinate Market Development Programme (MDP) grant portfolio including preparation of narrative and financial reports as well as annual work plans.
Work with regional staff to provide counselling and support to selected service providers and entrepreneurs on regular basis
- Improve, systematize, and coordinate MDP M&E ( Monitoring and Evaluation) systems for all regions that can gather information and track the progress of comprehensive ongoing MDP programmes for strategic planning and review, implementation tracking, and management/donor reporting purposes.
- Produce reports on lessons learned, success stories, and help conduct analysis under supervision of the National MDP Manager on various MDP studies on value chains, markets, businesses, and subsidies
- Work closely with the National Manager: Market Development to refine strategic direction and operational procedures of MDP.
- Conduct analysis of selected subsectors and value chains selected by AKF and provide focused support to upgrade them.
- Develop proposals for new grants and manage current donor relations relating to enterprise/market development through regular reporting and dialogue.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in relevant field and at least three years related work experience.
- Applied knowledge of market development methodologies.
- Excellent English written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to critically analyze and provide constructive recommendations.
- Good team player with ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues.
