 Job Description
 
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for coordination with the project partners and donors.
  • Supervise the performance of consultants and the project team, and build strong collaborative relationships with all project partners.
  • Manage all project activities, including monitoring and evaluation, and timely preparation and submission of reports and other deliverables.
  • Supervise internal control procedures and overall administrative systems.
  • Represent DAI in meetings and conferences,Complete other tasks as assigned by COP.
 Candidate Profile
 

Qualifications :

  • Master’s Degree in Natural Resource Management, Watershed Management, Agriculture, Forestry, or other relevant international development field.
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant technical and managerial experience in natural resource/watershed management, international development, and/or economic growth projects in rebuilding countries, in Latin America or West Africa, and preferably in Haiti.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a senior managerial position on a USAID- funded project is mandatory, e.g. Project Director/Chief of Party.
  • Demonstrated and proven record to lead/motivate a multidisciplinary team under changeable and complex circumstances.
  • Previous work experience and knowledge of conditions in Haiti or in the region.
  • Strong managerial skills, including well developed skills in managing complex institutional relations and interactions among a variety of entities.
  • Previous experience with and clear understanding of results-based approach to  USAID-funded project implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
