Job Description |
|
|
- The Research Analyst supports and assists the Special Policy Officer and the President by: providing research and analysis to further the program’s strategic goals.
- Summarizing and synthesizing reports, articles and research and sharing relevant information across the program and the foundation.
- Supporting the work of the Global Development Advisory Panel .
- Coordinating a wide range of short-term and longer-term projects and tasks in the President’s office as required.
- Prepare regular summaries of reports, books and articles related to trends in international development and other related issues.

Qualifications & Experience :
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience which includes experience in a similar role requiring the application of research and writing skills to enhance decision-making and strategy development. An advanced degree in business, public policy or related field preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple and competing demands and establish priorities, while providing continual attention to detail in proofing materials, tracking projects and grants.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills in positions requiring communication with a broad and diverse audience on a range of complex and technical issues.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a role requiring collaboration within an organization, as well as a demonstrated ability to work with efficiency and diplomacy, particularly as part of a team effort.
