• Assists in project technical work: support to partners, preparation for trainings and workshops.
  
• Develops research tools, instruments, and databases, Participates in field data collection, data tabulation.
  
• Performs quantitative and qualitative data analysis for assigned projects.
  
• Evaluates validity of findings; prepares report; answers queries on research design and methodology as needed.
  
• Conducts literature reviews and compiles resource bank of background and support material for project implementation.
  
• Contributes to the writing and editing of professional papers, publications, and presentations through directed research and/or authoring targeted segments of a document.
  
• Supports in project management tasks including managing project timelines, coordinating with partners & consultants, budget management, preparation for and coordinating meetings and events.

Qualifications:

• Post graduate degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Demography or a related social discipline.
  
• 3-4 years of post Masters experience in research and program management with expertise in tools development, collecting and analyzing qualitative & quantitative data and documentation using software’s such as SPSS or STATA.
  
• Demonstrated ability to provide project management support on multiple projects.
  
• Proficiency in using MS-Windows, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet applications.
  
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
