Job Description |
|
|
- Develop the case for, and advise on operations and evaluation research that should be conducted by MI, and whether in-house or commissioned.
- Design and manage operations research that will improve the implementation of MI’s programs, and contribute to the public knowledge base of best practices for micronutrient programs.
- Design and manage evaluation research that will permit the documentation of impact of MI’s programs on target populations, will help improve MI programs and may contribute to the public knowledge base of best practices for micronutrient programs.
- Generate or contribute to key external communications including reports, presentations in international conferences and publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Manage institutional grants and consultancy contracts for specific technical grants.

Qualifications :
- Doctoral level degree in public health, nutrition, program policy and planning, health economics or other relevant discipline with focus on operations and/or evaluation research.
- Minimum 5 years experience including work on design, implementation, analysis and publication of operations and/or evaluation research
- Hands-on operations and/or evaluation research experience in developing countries publications in reputable peer reviewed journals, commensurate with years of experience.
- Advanced statistical analysis skills.
- Strong organizational and writing skills.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of French or Spanish is highly desirable.
