• Provides overall leadership and technical guidance as well as oversight to Maternal Newborn Health programs and projects.
  
• Serves as the in-house expert on MNH and provides inputs for developing scale up strategies and new proposals.
  
• Develops and publishes issue papers in collaboration with relevant staff; organizes and presents papers on program findings at dissemination meetings
  
• Provide extensive support to senior current PPH staff, partners and stakeholders, to provide inputs in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and serve as project liaison with local donor representative and other activities as necessary;
  
• Serves as the point person on overall monitoring, data collection and project surveys, in coordination with project M&E staff
  
• Work with and/or advise project technical staff and partners in their development of materials and tools.
  
• Provide feedback on relevant papers for dissemination or publication.
  
• Provide guidance to the CR, and other Pathfinder India staff

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health, Public Policy or related field is necessary
  
• Significant previous experience in managing a multidisciplinary team and implementation of medium term and mulit-site public health projects in India.
  
• Demonstrated ability to transfer skills and knowledge and to lead work teams.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and national language.
  
• Fairly good knowledge in particular of excel, word & power-point.
