ILID (http://www.ilid.org/) is an NGO that caters to the leadership and institutional development needs of social organizations. It helps social entrepreneurs improve and innovate on effort and strategy fronts through various services such as client consulting, research, training and development of successful project models to respond to unmet needs. Project Ekalavya addresses the critical problem of unemployment among the educated rural/urban youth. It is a 3 month program imparting training in language (English), computer and soft skills. We need professionals who are proficient in computers with training experience who can motivate students to absorb maximum benefit from the program. Instructors will be expected to initially teach: 1. Computer basics 2. Internet basics 3. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Later they may be asked to develop training material as well. Retired professionals may also apply.
- Graduate in Computer Science or related fields - At least 2 years experience in teaching computers Key Competencies: - Excellent communication skills (preferably with ability to speak Kannada) - Exceptional Computer Skills
