Duration : Six Weeks Job Description UNDP invites applications for an assignment of six weeks duration to work as a Verification and Evaluation Expert for the GOI-UNDP Capacity Building for Decentralized Urban Governance project. The project is supported by UNDP and is being implemented by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. The assignment requires extensive travel to project cities. The qualifications, experience, responsibilities and deliverables are given in the TOR. The consultant can also propose a two member team for the assignment.
The consultant may quote his/her fees for the assignment. The travel cost ceiling is given in the TOR.
1. Post- Graduate Degree in Social Science, Economics, Public Administration, Management, Public Policy or related fields; 2. Relevant professional experience in project monitoring and evaluation; 3. At least 5 years experience of working on urban issues and on municipal governance in India; 4. Good communication skills; 5. Computer skills (Word, Power Point); 6. Fluency in English and Hindi, knowledge of Oriya and Malayalam will be an added advantage; 7. Willingness to travel to 16 cities in four project states.
