Facilitate Desk reviews to identify successful NGO-led pilot projects with scaling up potential; • Support in identifying gaps in the readiness of the model for scaling up (e.g. lack of quality evaluation or adequate documentation) and helping fill in those gaps • Evaluation and analytic documentation, through a combination of desk reviews, interviews and secondary data sources; • Facilitate Scaling Up visioning and planning workshops with the implementing NGOs and other stakeholders to develop a Scaling Up strategy; • Prepare budgets, training designs, and capacity building efforts to assist in implementation of models at scale; • Undertake administrative functions related to travel, communication with partners and coordination with headquarters as required.
A post-graduate degree, preferably in Management, Social Sciences, Public Health or a related discipline; • 3-5 years work experience beyond a post-graduate degree, preferably with a significant part of that working on adolescent reproductive and sexual health ( ARSH ) or reproductive health projects in India; • Experience in more than one sector – donors, government, NGOs and civil society – a distinct plus; • Familiarity with public health policy and programming in India, especially knowledge of relevant Government of India, NGO and donor programs and projects in reproductive health, such as RCH2 and NRHM • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence in working with diverse organizations and people, including NGOs, government officials and donors, and a sensitivity to the values and organizational culture of diverse stakeholders, especially partner NGOs; • A “can-do” problem solving approach; willingness and ability to think creatively as a policy entrepreneur to help envision new solutions; • Excellent public speaking, written and oral communication skills in English; • Demonstrated ability for program development, planning and monitoring along with training and facilitation skills
