System Administrator

Vacancy in OneWorld South Asia
Location New Delhi
Job Description

The position holder will supplement the existing pool of OWSA's application development and system administration technical team. In particular s/he will be responsible for daily system administration tasks, managing remote linux server and ensuring secure network operation. The position will report to Head, Technology Operation and Content Services.
Candidate Profile


  • Degree/Diploma in electronics, telecommunication, computer science/application or appropriate industry certification.
  • Network administration experience in a multi-platform computing environment composed of Linux and windows servers & desktops.
  • Experience in remote management and performance tuning of servers collocated in off-site Internet Data-centres.
  • Good oral and written communication abilities; and ability to work in multi-disciplinary team.
  • At least one year of experience in linux system administration.
