The Australian Government has announced the applications for 2022 Direct Aid Program (DAP), an aid fund intended to finance or co-finance development micro projects.
Placed under the responsibility of the Consul General of Australia in Nouméa and financed by the Australian government, this program is based on the principles of accessible, sustainable and practical development.
Funding Information
The level of intervention for each project is generally between 100,000 and 234,774 XPF.
What activities are eligible for support under the DAP program?
The DAP program is primarily interested in projects with an impact on the fight against inequalities based on gender, education and skills development, rural development as well as sustainable development and environmental protection. The selection of development projects mainly studies the following pragmatic aspects:
achieve concrete results,
promote the involvement of the local community,
ensure better accessibility for women, young people or people with disability,
ensure the sustainability of the results after the project is finalized.
Eligibility Criteria
Program funds are intended to support projects presented by a 1901-type association, a community or a particular legal group that engages in development activities in countries that are eligible for official development assistance.
