The Health Resources and Services Administration has announced the opportunity to apply for funding under the Strengthen the Evidence for Maternal and Child Health Programs.
The purpose of this program is to increase the effective design, implementation, and monitoring of evidence-based or -informed strategies by Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Services Block Grant programs in order to improve maternal and child health.
Goals
The goals of the program include:
Increased ability of Title V agencies to effectively design, implement, and monitor evidence-based or -informed strategies to improve MCH.
Increased number of National Performance Measure (NPM) goals achieved each year that contribute to meeting the goals of the Title V National Outcome Measures (NOMs).
Increased contribution to the evidence base from states and jurisdictions implementation of evidence-based or -informed strategies to improve MCH
Enhanced and increased publically available digital resources related to MCH.
