What to do if you missed a phone call from your prospective employer?

Amnesty International is establishing a regional office in Bangkok. The office will ensure that Amnesty International remains a leading voice on human rights issues in the region, while reinforcing relationships with governments, local partners and communities facing human rights challenges.
To this end, we are pleased to be recruiting for three campaigners to join the recently established Southeast Asia and the Pacific Regional Office located in Bangkok, Thailand. These positions will focus on one or more of the following countries - Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam - with some work related to other countries in the Southeast Asia and Pacific region.
You will develop innovative strategies that reach new audiences, deepening the organization's presence in the region while mobilizing its international membership to bring human rights abuses to an end.
With an expert knowledge of human rights issues in the region and established track record of designing campaign strategies that have delivered positive change, you will be a self-starter, full of new ideas with an enthusiasm to embrace new challenges and able to work under pressure. A team-player, who can work with a diverse range of stakeholders, you will bring excellent organizational, project management and planning skills.
As someone who has extensively worked and lived in this region, you will have first-hand campaigning/advocacy experience, sound political judgment and strong interpersonal, collaboration and communications skills. You will be highly competent in writing for different audiences, public speaking, and using social media.
You will have a firm grasp of the socio-political landscape and an expert knowledge of at least one or more of the following Southeast Asian countries: Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam. Advanced English language skills are essential, with fluency in the languages of one of these countries highly desirable.
