Job Description

Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the first NGO in the healthcare area officially recognized in Italy. Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, actually CUAMM is working in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions.


  • University Degree in Medicine with further specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken Portuguese
  • Long-lasting experience in gynaecology and obstetrics
  • Previous professional experience in Developing Countries

Key Duties

  • Supporting in particular the gynecological/obstetric area, carrying out clinical activity and monitoring the coverage and quality of services provided in the delivery room and maternity
  • Collaborating in the process of improving the good management of the hospital
  • Promoting the access to hospital services, with special regard to women and children
