Oxfam International is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity within the workplace.
One person in three in the world lives in poverty. Oxfam is determined to change that world by mobilizing the power of people against poverty.
Around the world, Oxfam works to find practical, innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive. We save lives and help rebuild livelihoods when crisis strikes. And we campaign so that the voices of the poor influence the local and global decisions that affect them. In all we do, Oxfam works with partner organizations and alongside vulnerable women and men to end the injustices that cause poverty.
Our Secretariat is based in Oxford, with advocacy and campaigns offices in Washington DC, New York, Brussels, Geneva, Brasilia and a liaison office with the Africa Union in Addis Ababa.
Oxfam is a global confederation made up of 18 affiliates. We are in the process of implementing the biggest and most ambitious global change in our history. This change will ensure that all affiliates are working closely together as One Oxfam and increase our impact on lifting people out of poverty across 100+ countries in all regions of the world.
As part of this change we have implemented four HR Services: Reward, Learning and Organisational Development, Employee Relations and Talent and Resourcing. These shared services are now evolving into purer shared services which will service the whole confederation.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for the Head of the Oxfam Reward Shared Service - this role will lead on global reward strategy development and implementation across the confederation, project manage confederation wide reward initiatives and oversee the Leadership management of the operational arm of the Reward Shared Service. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate who has previous experience of global reward within a large complex/matrix type organisation. You will bring strong proven technical reward, influencing, negotiation and communication skills. In addition, you will have experience of working with senior Managers and Directors on complex Global Reward Matters.
