Job Description

Scope of Work:

Coordinate, produce and Publish different types of information and media materials about Qatar Red Crescent.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of plans that contribute to the development of media and creative work.
  • innovating new ideas for the production of media materials in creative, unique and diverse ways.
  • Work on the preparation and design of media materials needed by Qatar Red Crescent.
  • coordinate and communicate with the media to cover the various projects and activities in Syria and Turkey.
  • coordinate and communicate with project managers and teams working on the ground, to gather

    information and analyze data and reformatting it in a way that matches the nature of the desired product.

    • implement electronic graphic design and print mail tasks, such as public design, Info graphics and awareness publications, etc.

    • Implement the tasks of press output, reports design and periodic brochures.

    • Design and output presentations.

    • Process Images prepared for publication, and incorporate it into the visual identity.

    • Follow up presses to meet the needs for printings with the desired speed and quality.

    • Publish media materials on social networks platforms with wording the appropriate text in Arabic.

    • Write periodic reports.

    • collect and archive and organize media materials. • Any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Media and beneficiaries.

Education, Experience & Training:

  • University degree.
  • practical experience the art of graphic design and layout-mail.
  • practical experience the arts of Infographic design stages.
  • practical experience reports, brochures and catalogs design and output.
  • practical experience dealing with printing presses and offices of advertising services.
  • Experience in working with humanitarian organizations, or familiar with their needs.
  • preference to anyone who has knowledge of video editing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Ability to innovate and creativity in producing media materials.
  • The ability to analyze the data and turn it into a visual output.
  • High skill in the use of major design programs: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in drafting and editing in Arabic.
  • Advanced skill in using computer programs and MS Office.
  • High communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to manage time and set priorities.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English is preferred.
