The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) has an exciting vacancy for someone interested to work at the interface between humanitarian evidence and practice. Drawing on monitoring and evaluation, research and programme experience in the humanitarian sector, the successful candidate will help shape the impact of DEC’s work by developing and supporting consistent, coherent, innovative and practical MEAL tools and approaches. Reporting to the Director of Programmes and Accountability, you will manage the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities that the DEC undertakes with its 13 member agencies; review member reports to monitor programme performance; and oversee data collection systems and analysis that leads to key learning and accountability outputs for the DEC.
The ideal candidate is someone who can design and manage appropriate MEAL systems and processes, and who can nurture collaborative working approaches across diverse teams. Full job description is available http://www.dec.org.uk/article/jobs-volunteering
