The position will report directly to the Representative and will be under the technical leadership of the GBV Regional Specialists, the post will be responsible for leading and coordinating actions on GBV prevention and response working in close collaboration with Government, multi-lateral, bilateral partners, UN colleagues and civil society towards the reduction of gender-based violence. The GBV Specialist will ensure alignment with Government priorities and UNFPA’s mandate, policies and procedures and will lead and support coordination mechanisms including the joint UN GBV Sub Working Group and the GBViE Inter-Agency Working Group.

Advanced degree in social work or other social sciences, public health, gender, international relations, international law, human rights, or related field.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Khmer.
