Job Description

UNICEF works in 190 countries and territories to protect the rights of every child. UNICEF has spent 70 years working to improve the lives of children and their families. Defending children's rights throughout their lives requires a global presence, aiming to produce results and understand their effects. UNICEF believes all children have a right to survive, thrive and fulfill their potential – to the benefit of a better world.

For every child, save livesUNICEF is mandated by UN General Assembly to advocate the protection of children's right, to help meet their basis needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential. To achieve this UNICEF generates the latest evidence on children and works with governments and the public to ensure children receive the services they need, that their voices are heard, and that there is a progressive realization of their rights. Specially, with partners, including governments, non-governmental organizations, civil society actors and the private sector, UNICEF promotes the strengthening of all components of child protection systems - human resources, finances, laws, standards, governance, monitoring and services.
