Job Description

Tasks include but are nit limited to:

  1. Support Technical Programme Assistants (TPAs) to implement the Livelihood Component of the TTL Project. This will include specific focus on either the agricultural extension program, agricultural based CMLP's and small enterprise development groups with an agricultural focus, or with the business-based activities (STED and non-agricultural CMLPs)
  2. Provide technical support including training and support on new technologies and/or business skills
  3. Calculation, procurement and distribution of required inputs for small enterprises and CMLPs
  4. Support start-up businesses- either agricultural or or non-agricultural based
  5. Support the capacity building of Red Cross volunteers on monitoring and supporting livelihood projects
  6. Field visits as required

Minimum Required Profile:

  1. Degree in a business or agriculture related field or significant experience working with small enterprises and/or community groups
  2. Previous experience working on community based project is preferred
  3. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks
  4. Excellent reporting and problem solving skills
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
