What are we looking for?
Oxfam GB seeks to recruit a UK Partnership Advisor that will be specifically responsible for overseeing Oxfam’s programme partnership with the UK Government, maintaining visibility over the portfolio of programmes, enhancing programme quality, managing reputational risk, and leading on strategic engagement, programmes and initiatives such as DFID’s Key Relationship Management.
What skills, knowledge and experience are needed?
Demonstrable success in resource mobilisation at scale with institutional donors for an international agency like Oxfam and/or detailed understanding of the ways of working of the UK Government, and in particularly DFID
Significant experience in working at a senior level within a network, coalition, alliance, confederation of organisations or government agency involving multiple stakeholders and managing complex processes
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, implement cross-organisational initiatives, and to identify and articulate strategic and policy issues through effective oral and written briefs
Demonstrable project development and management experience
Demonstrable experience in developing and writing proposals

Location: The preferred location of this job will be Oxford, and will involve regular travel to London and East Kilbride, and occasional international travel to country programmes outside of the United Kingdom (equivalent to approximately 6-8 weeks per annum).
