Amazon Literary Partnership is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit literary organizations to empower authors to bring their creative works to life.
With the goal of helping writers tell their stories and find their readers, the Amazon Literary Partnership supports nonprofit literary organizations that empower writers to create, publish, learn, teach, experiment, and thrive. They provide grant funding to innovative groups that amplify diverse voices and strive not only for a lasting impact on writers’ lives but on the broader literary and publishing communities.
Amazon Literary Partnership seeks to fund organizations that champion diverse, marginalized, and underrepresented authors and storytellers. Their previous grant recipients represent both local and national institutions of all sizes and include nonprofit writing centers, residencies, fellowships, after-school classes, literary magazines, national organizations supporting storytelling and free speech, and internationally acclaimed publishers of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
Once again, they are excited to work with the nation’s largest membership-based nonprofit organization advocating for American poets and poetry, the Academy of American Poets, on their Poetry Fund. The Academy’s mission is to support American poets at all stages of their careers and to foster the appreciation of contemporary poetry. The Academy will convene a panel to review 2024 grant applications and disperse 10 to 15 grants for the Poetry Fund.
