Celebrate Urban Birds

Relevent Country: Canada

The Celebrate Urban Birds is seeking applications for the Birds, Equity and Culture Mini-Grants to promote educational events for youth and communities that center Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in birdwatching and ornithology.
The project seeks to promote better science through the equitable exchange of knowledge, increased access, centering missing voices and experiences, and by intentionally advocating for community ownership and leadership of scientific research.
They will prioritize community-led applications that focus on sharing community knowledge and expertise and emphasize culture and the arts.
