Areas
The grant committee is interested in projects in the following areas:
Early Childhood Development
Literacy Programs
Youth Development Programmes
Sports, and Recreational Activities
Arts, Culture and Indigenous Knowledge Systems
Community Safety
Anti-Alcohol & Drug Abuse
Any other social challenge in the community
They will be looking at:
Relevance of your project
Project objectives and outcomes
Proof of financial need
A viable and realistic budget
The envisaged impact and benefit of your project
The project implementation plan (timelines, expenditure plan, beneficiaries, etc.)
Eligibility Criteria
Organisations and/or individuals who are part of or are involved in a community development programme, are eligible for the SARAO Community Development Grant.
