Applicants are invited to submit proposals for MATRA 2018 program which is a Dutch programme that aims to support the transformation of societies. MATRA is part of the Netherlands Fund for Regional Partnerships of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
MATRA’s general objective in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is “To contribute to social transformation, leading to a sustainable relationship between government and its citizens, in the areas of plural democracy, the rule of law and human rights, using Dutch experience where possible”.
MATRA covers only a limited set of themes. Project proposals relating to other than the listed themes, however relevant for the transformation of society, cannot be approved.
Strengthening the Voice of Civil Society Organizations
The maximum contribution amount is BAM 150.000; the minimum is BAM 50.000. The maximum project duration is 24 months.
MATRA is open for applications by local non-governmental organizations, non-profit educational institutions, non-central authorities and semi-governmental organizations.
