Detailed Description

Community grant program has been launched with the funding of $10,000 or less to support nonprofit organizations working in New Hampshire and selected communities in Maine and Vermont.

Express Grants are project grants, so they are designed to support a particular project your organization would like to undertake.

Funding Information

  • Up to $10,000

Geographic Focus

  • Projects serving New Hampshire and selected communities in Maine and Vermont within the Foundation’s eight regions: Capital, Lakes, Manchester, Monadnock, Nashua, North Country, Piscataqua and Upper Valley.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) charitable are eligible to apply. Previous grantees must have filed progress, interim or final grant reports on their most recent grants in order to be eligible to apply for new grant support. Through the Express Grant program, they do not make grants to:
  • Public and Private Schools
  • Religious Organizations unless all services being funded are non-discriminatory, non-sectarian and benefit the larger community.
  • Hospitals
  • Colleges and Universities

Ineligible Applicants

They will not make a grant through this program to:

  • Public and Private Schools
  • Hospitals
  • Colleges and Universities
  • Religious Organizations, except for services that are non-discriminatory, non-sectarian and benefit the larger community
  • Organizations exclusively focused on substance use disorder prevention, treatment or recovery support services.
  • Organizations that received a multiyear unrestricted community grant in 2018, 2019 or 2020 may not apply for an Express grant.
