Detailed Description

Rajasthan is the first State in India to establish a Mission on Livelihoods. In order to address the challenges of unemployment and ensuring gainful and sustainable employment to the youth of the state, Hon’ble Chief Minister created Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood (RMoL) in September 2004. The objective of creation of RMoL was to formulate appropriate and innovative strategies to promote and facilitate large scale livelihoods for the poor and vulnerable people of the state. Understanding the importance of skill development as a vehicle for enhancing employability of working population, RMoL was rechristened as Rajasthan Mission on Skill and Livelihoods in 2009-10.

About EOI:

  • RSLDC invites applications from the interested Project Implementation Agencies under DDUGKY scheme to allot a target of 26795 for Skilling rural poor youth. These comprises 9000 for long term courses and 900 for person with special ability. Kudumbashree has been empaneled as the Appraisal Agency under DDU-GKY in Rajasthan.
  • Under DDUGKY project, agencies that can train and place candidates according to the skill gap existing in different sectors are encouraged to apply. RSLDC encourages employers/industries to apply under this project who can commit assured captive placements.
  • Appraisal of the proposal shall be carried out with the following condition:
  • Projects are to be proposed only for the districts.
  • It must be noted that project proposals exclusively for aspirational district will avail relaxation in BG @6.25% of Project cost instead of 10%
  • PIA can also opt any of the 33 districts of Rajasthan if applying for following projects under following categories:
  • Projects for special category
  • Long term projects
