Detailed Description

Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes:

  • Follow an integrated Masters Course or Doctoral programme in two or more universities
  • Students at Master level can apply to a maximum of three different programmes.
  • Both, students and potential scholars/guest lecturers should contact the relevant institution for more information on courses and application procedures.
  • Applicant doctoral candidates should contact the relevant consortium offering the EMJD for more information on courses and application procedures.
  • From 2014 onwards, new Doctoral Programmes and additional doctoral fellowships will be available under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, which form part of the EU's Horizon 2020 programme for research and innovation.

Strand 1

Action 2 partnerships selected in 2014 are offering scholarships to EU nationals to study at a partner university in a non-EU country in the following regions:

  • Iran, Iraq, Yemen
  • Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan
  • China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand
  • Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Mongolia, Vietnam
  • Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan
  • Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay
  • Argentina, Brazil*, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela
  • Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua

All Action 2 partnerships selected in 2013 are offering scholarships to EU nationals to study at a partner university in a non-EU country in the following regions:

Strand 2

  • All partnerships selected under Strand 2 can provide mobility to EU nationals to study/research in a non-EU country.
