The Comhairle Chontae Liatroma Leitrim County Council is pleased to announced the applications for its to encourage and support Community and Voluntary Organisations to undertake and implement festivals and events, which will promote the wellbeing of the community and their area while enhancing the quality of life of its citizens through the generation of increased economic, social and cultural activity.
Funding will be Considered for the Following
New festivals and events
Existing festivals/events
Evening and outdoor events
Eligibility Criteria
Community and Voluntary Organisations based in and undertaking festivals/events in the administrative area of Leitrim County Council are eligible to apply for funding under this Scheme.
Proposals from individuals will not qualify.
Grant Criteria
The process for grant payment will be detailed in a Letter of Offer that will issue to all successful applicants.
The level of grant assistance will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to:
Type of event/festival
Innovation
Additionality
Availability of other sources of funding
The overall number of applications seeking funding under the Scheme in each of the Municipal Districts.
Expenditure on the proposed event/festival must be incurred before 30th December 2022.
All claims must be submitted within 4 weeks of the event’s end date.
Where the Group is not registered for VAT, grant aid can be paid on costs inclusive of VAT.
