Every year, FORBES’ 30 Under 30 list honors the world’s most inspiring young innovators, bright rising stars and the leaders of tomorrow. Although their objectives are different, their mission is the same: change the world.

Do you share this dream? Starting today, nominations are open for the 2017 class of FORBES 30 Under 30, our annual list honoring 600 remarkable creators across 20 diverse industries. We select young talents who have already made an impact or who are about to hit it big.
Many go on to do so, like listee John Boyega, who you may have seen in Star Wars, or Ashley Graham, who recently graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue.

But meaningful impact doesn’t only come from being in the spotlight. Other honorees from 2016 focused on initiatives like innovating healthcare for the elderly or utilizing new tech to help students write more effectively. FORBES’ 30 Under 30 is a prestigious club, and we’re looking for new members. Think you’re ready to join our 2017 U.S. list or our new Europe and Asia lists? You tell us.

You can find the official nomination form here. We are accepting names through November 1, 2016.

We receive thousands of nominations every year, and spend months researching and hundreds of hours reporting on our own to construct our elite final list. Using the above link, you can nominate the person you think most deserves the honor and if you think that’s you, cut down on any self-promotional language to let your accomplishments shine through. Please submit one form per nominee, as multiple submissions don’t equal greater amounts of attention. All applications must be in English. After you submit your nomination, a suggested tweet will appear so
you can share your nomination with the hashtag #30Under30. We want to see who you’re rooting for.

What are the age and eligibility requirements?

Well, you have to be under the age of 30, as of 12/31/16. Meaning you were born after 1987. We now have three 30 Under 30 lists: U.S., Europe and Asia. We ask that you apply for the list that best fits your place of work and residence, as well as impact. For example, if your company produces a good or service only available in the U.S., you’d pick that list. If you’re based in Australia and your impact is there, you’d choose the Asia list. You cannot make a 30 Under 30 list multiple times, so no former honorees are eligible.

What if a company or organization (including musical group) has more than one founder?

You and the people you work with closely can jointly receive the honor. Just be sure to include your cofounder(s), don’t leave them out if they, too, deserve the title. Those under 30 will be considered, but those aged out will not.

What are the categories?

There are 20 U.S. categories comprised of 30 honorees, so 600 U.S. 30 Under 30s are named annually. You may only apply for one list.
