The Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation is seeking applications for its grant program.

Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation is providing grants to nonprofit organizations in the Pikes Peak Region serving to support:

  • Youth Organizations
  • Animal Welfare
  • Arts
  • Health and Human Services
  • Community Building
  • Education
  • Environment


They work in service along side their nonprofit partners to leverage their resources (their network, their endowment and their grant funds) in an equitable, strategic, and impactful manner. Their nonprofit partners help to guide the types of grant dollars they deploy-to meet their strategic needs. As such, the majority of their grants are for capacity building and general operating support.

Funding Information

  • In general, grant amounts are based on the size and need of the organization applying. Grants range from $500 – $100,000 with an average of $10,000.

Ineligible for Funding

The Foundation does not support the following:

  • Organizations that have not secured their legal 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS or are not under the fiscal agency of a nonprofit
  • Individuals
  • Special and/or Fundraising Events
  • Debt Reduction
  • Organizations with an evangelical mission

Eligibility Criteria

  • All organizations applying to the Foundation must be a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization; or be a project or organization under the fiscal agency of a 501(c)3 organization.
  • The Foundation focuses its funding on those organizations with which it has an established funding history.
