The Slavko Curuvija Foundation is inviting local media from the territory of the Republic of Serbia to send their project proposals within the Solidarity Fund, which they want to help media that report in the public interest in their communities to overcome the crisis caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The aim of the competition is to support local media to overcome the crisis and to facilitate the production of informative content in the public interest, in order to provide citizens with accurate and verified information that will guide them in everyday life. By supporting the media, they also want to determine their position, importance and relevance in the environments in which they work and to support them to expand their audience.
The competition is intended for local media that are particularly affected by the crisis and that actively report on topics of public importance in their communities.
The support is intended exclusively for the production of informative content that is of public importance for the local communities from which the media come. The thematic framework of the competition is not predetermined, but the proposed topics must be relevant and useful for citizens from those areas.
The costs of producing informative content are allowed, as well as the costs of distributing and promoting the content.
The maximum amount of the donation is 500,000 dinars. The maximum duration of the project is six months.
