Supporting Youth & Children’s Activities in Lennik & Sint-Pieters-Leeuw

Applications are now open for the Fund for Future to support projects on youth and children’s work in the municipalities of Lennik and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.

The fund thus invests locally in future generations for a sustainable and solidarity-based society. The fund is aimed at organizations and associations that support children and young people up to the age of 18.

It can be physical, sporting, cultural, artistic or social activities. They encourage engagement, forge local and social bonds, and focus on inclusion, diversity and solidarity.

Funding Information

  • Fund for Future has released a total budget of EUR 20,000.00 for this call.
  • The organizations that apply can request support up to a maximum of € 4,000.00.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The initiator of the project is an organization that works for and with children and young people up to 18 years;
  • The candidate file is completed in full, within the specified period and in the Dutch;
  • The organization that applies is active in Lennik and/or Sint-Pieters-Leeuw;
  • The project must be able to be implemented or started before 31/12/2024.

Selection Criteria

  • The project benefits children and young people from Lennik and/or Sint-Pieters-Leeuw;
  • The project must be socially meaningful and have a concrete impact;
  • The project promotes values of solidarity;
  • The project pays sufficient attention to inclusion and diversity;
  • The project is feasible (have suitable partners, have the necessary permits and the right material);
  • The budget must be adapted to the ambition of the project.
  • The jury, consisting of independent experts, will pay particular attention to involvement of vulnerable young people.
  • Internal wage costs are not eligible for support.
