Under the supervision of the program manager in Burkina Faso, the Administrative and Financial Assistant, ensures the effective and efficient functioning of the country office while maintaining total confidentiality in all aspects of the position, '' application of procedures, management of information dissemination and monitoring of deadlines and commitments. He or she is part of the support team of the Agency's Management group.
The Administrative and Financial Assistant will be responsible for providing overall assistance to the UN-Habitat program officer.
In addition to the specific actions mentioned below, the incumbent will take care of the so-called `` Standard '' daily tasks of an Administrative and Financial Assistant. This will include managing mail, entering documents / reports, inventory of office equipment, electronic filing of documents, electronic management of appointments, drafting of letters / emails and other documents, welcoming visitors, receiving telephone calls, supervising the logistics of the Office and the equipment made available to implementing partners of UN-Habitat projects and performing any other task, whenever it is competent will be required.

Alongside the UN-Habitat Program Officer, he or she will provide administrative, financial and logistical support at the global level and at the level of each of the UN-Habitat projects and programs in Burkina Faso and with the implementing partners of said projects / programs as follows:

The key results have an impact on the effective functioning of the Office. Good time management and organization strengthen the capacity of the Office as well as the image of UN-habitat as an effective actor in the development of the country. The initiative taken by the incumbent has a decisive impact on the results of tasks completed on time.

Qualifications required for the position:
