Project Overview and Role
The Humanitarian and Stabilisation Operations Team, contracted by Palladium International Ltd, provides the both Department for International Development (DFID) with humanitarian services and the UK Government's Stabilisation Unit (SU) with stabilisation support. The SU is a cross-government unit which supports the UK government efforts to tackle instability overseas and is located in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), London SW1. You can read more about the SU and the important work they do here.
The SU maintain a standby roster of administrative officers to assist with contracting and deployments. We call on members of the standby roster as and when the need arises. In this latest series of recruitment's, we are looking for highly able administrators who are prepared to be security cleared in advance of potential need, and who if contracted will be able to work in a busy and responsive team at the heart of government.
Periods of work could range from a few weeks to several months. The roles are based in London.
There is no guarantee that membership of the roster will result in the offer of work. However membership of the roster makes a work offer more likely because security clearance, which can take several months to process, has already been obtained.
