EUROCONTROL gathers airport information via the Airport Corner – an airport-focused data repository and secure web application enabling airports to provide information and sharing it with the Network in an efficient and harmonized manner in support to strategic, pre-tactical and tactical planning.
Your role will be to:
Actively contribute to the development, optimisation and maintenance of the Airport Corner services by:
Analysing and defining new business requirements to improve airport systems, processes and practices considering the impact of changes.
Coordinating and performing user acceptance tests, designing implementation plans, communicating changes to users (e.g. user guidance, benefits, training), providing user support and monitoring post-implementation.
Supporting core NM business processes such as strategic, pre-tactical and tactical planning, events management, post-operational analysis and crisis management.
Collaborating with internal and external partners and with software development teams to achieve an optimal implementation of new business requirements.
Act as the focal point for internal/external users, manage the airports information provision via the Airport Corner, and coordinate and solve any issues related to quality of information.
Support actively the NM events management process by closely following-up on airport events, coordinating with airport partners (e.g. ATCs, airport operators) to obtain information, providing input to various NM processes (e.g. weekly briefings, strategic planning, performance reporting) and preparing post-operational feedback on airport events.
Actively promote awareness and look for opportunities to bring new airports and airlines to join the Airport Corner (e.g. presentations to external/internal target groups, airports visit, promotional leaflets/videos, etc).
Enhance and expand the use of the Airport Corner information by internal/external users (e.g. new target user groups).
Contribute to projects and working groups aiming the delivery of future services (e.g. AOP/NOP evolutions, SESAR projects, iNM).
Be constantly on the lookout for ways to modernise business practices and efficiencies and make concrete proposals.
Carry out any other tasks in line with the main purpose of the job.
Completed university studies of 4 years in a relevant domain (Aeronautics, Air Transport, ATM, Information Management, Computer/Data Science or Engineering), or professional training of an equivalent level.
Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience.
Experience with information engineering concepts, data management techniques and business intelligence analysis.
Experience in developing user requirements.
Experience with User Acceptance Tests.
Knowledge of Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA).
Stakeholder management skills.
Project Management skills.
English technical drafting skills.
Understanding of the Network and the flow management's related activities and the airports’ role in them.
Understanding of airports and airlines operations, experience would be considered an asset.
