IFC’s Treasury Client Solutions Department is a client-facing transaction-structuring and execution team that provides IFC’s clients with innovative fixed-income solutions. The group has global responsibility for derivative transactions, structured products, local currency solutions, and debt capital markets solutions. The team takes pride in contributing to many innovative transactions across the region that provide meaningful solutions to IFC’s clients.

IFC is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated finance, knowledge management or data-analytics professional to join the Treasury Client Solutions EMEA team based in Washington D.C. , covering markets across Africa, Middle East, Europe, and parts of Asia. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implement the department’s knowledge management and content strategy.
  • Lead assigned projects and initiatives and work closely with colleagues across the department globally and in other parts of the institution.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the group to synthesize and produce knowledge content, thematic and management briefings, presentations and other media, integrating both quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Build and maintain SharePoint online sites.
  • Integrate, analyze and visualize data relevant to the department’s business from a wide range of internal and external data sources.
  • Deliver relevant analytics, insights, visualizations and presentations for IFC’s management, decision making committees, conferences and external audiences.
  • Work closely with colleagues within and outside the department to use, develop, maintain and improve data repositories/databases, knowledge portals and automation tools to enhance the productivity of staff.
  • Contribute to learning events and training for colleagues as well as preparation of materials for business development and marketing of treasury products to clients.
  • Build and maintain relationship with key internal and external partners.

Selection Criteria

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data visualization, or other field related to the creation and communication of financial and quantitative content.
  • Between 4 and 8 years of relevant work experience in a combination of finance, content creation and knowledge management related area.
  • Good understanding of financial markets, preferably fixed income instruments and debt capital markets.
  • Experience with knowledge-related IT tools and platforms, SharePoint online, Microsoft suite of products and relevant collaboration tools.
  • A passion for learning new concepts and an ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and easily understandable way.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented team player with an ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision.
  • Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SQL would be a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
