Quicksand is hiring an experienced Associate Product Manager to join a cross-functional team of researchers, designers, product managers, developers, and UX specialists. In this role, you will be involved in building digital products in a variety of domains ranging from B2B e-commerce, HealthTech, FinTech, and GovTech.
Some responsibilities of the role are:
Be the voice of the user through data: Product usage data and how it has changed over time. Other data-driven methods of analyzing a particular problem and arriving at insights (publicly or privately available data sets, building data analysis models).
Get to know the users and use cases well through primary research. Has experience of working with qualitative research, designing research studies, outlining the right research questions to ask
Has the ability to get familiar with the strategic context and translate it into the product roadmap
Create product requirement documents (PRDs), and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver products.
Elicit requirements from different groups – subject matter experts, users, Product Owners, Designers and prepare user stories for the development team
Drive superb execution against the plan, anticipating risk, and leading discussions via frequent, clear communication (both internally and with customers)
Managing work allocation of scrum teams by translating features into prioritized user stories
Conduct grooming sessions
Has skills in performing user acceptance testing
Some specific qualifications you would need to have are:
1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Associate PM in a digital product set-up
Educational background in engineering, mathematics, core sciences, business management, or other analytical disciplines is an advantage
Expertise with Google Analytics and similar usage analytics tools
Working knowledge of project management tools like Jira/ Confluence/Monday
Good understanding of APIs, programming languages, front-end technologies, and cloud computing
Excellent communication skills
Nice to have: SQL, Prototyping skills on Figma
