Program Background

AMINEF, the binational foundation that manages the Fulbright scholarship programs and other U.S government-funded scholarships in Indonesia, seeks an Associate Program Officer to assist AMINEF staff in the administration of educational scholarship programs for Indonesian candidates. The work involves the planning, development, facilitation, implementation, evaluation and administration of a wide variety of such scholarship programs and initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Assists and supports the Senor Program Officer and Program Officer (Indonesian Program) in work related to grant programs for Indonesians, including outreach and recruitment activities, selection processes, mentoring selected grant applicants in developing written application essays, university placement process, pre-orientation, grantee debriefing
  • Communicates regularly with prospective applicants, applicants, candidates, grantees, on procedures, requirement, processes, and policies
  • Updates and manages applicants’, candidates’, and grantees’ records, applications, supporting documents, terms of appointments, visa documents, and others
  • Under the direction of the Senior Program Officer and Program Officer, designs, compiles, maintains, and evaluates the system of maintaining applicant and grantee records in a computerized database and querying and generating reports as needed from that database

Requirement:

  • Female, max. 35 years old
  • At least held Bachelor’s degree (S1) from any major
  • Have working experience as an administrator at least 3 years
  • Have excellent skills in Microsoft Office usage (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be proficient in a variety of formulas and functionalities in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be organized, meticulous, attentive to details and capable of prioritizing tasks
  • Have good analytical, administrative skills and able to work under pressure
  • Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia, ITP TOEFL min. 550
