Are you a motivated and sharp minded individual with experience managing a high-profile brand? We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Communications team.

The Role
The brand manager, with guidance and oversight from the Head of Communications Engagement, will play a crucial role in managing brand projects.

As brand manager, you will play a vital role in building and sustaining the Oxfam brand on a day to day basis, with the goal of building support for Oxfam among the UK public. You will help lead the development of a brand strategy that supports our public engagement objectives, all the while ensuring innovative brand practice is brought into our strategic thinking and planning.

You will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation, particularly with our public engagement teams covering campaigning, fundraising and trading work.

With experience in brand building in commercial, PR or non-profit settings, you will have previously developed and implemented brand strategies.

You will have budget management experience, and will be an excellent communicator; the kind of person your colleagues look forward to working with. You’ll have experience interpreting and acting on market research, while always keeping an eye on industry trends, best practice and the next new creative idea.

 Experience of managing brand risk and reputation
 Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and creatively
 Strong delivery orientation - ability to put processes in place that will deliver results
 Experience of marketing, advertising, media, and brand positioning
 Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
 Experience interpreting and understanding market research
 Experience of working on campaigns with financial and non-financial objectives
 Ability to work collaboratively. Building strong working relationships with other teams across the organization
 Experience of managing brand risk and reputation
 Ability to come up with innovative solutions for how Oxfam communicates to the UK public and general audience
 Budget management experience
