As the Chief of Party, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of all programmatic and financial aspects of the TB-HIV grant in accordance with Global Fund-approved procedures, policies and documents. You will develop detailed work plans and other project management and oversight controls, whilst also coordinating and communicating with the different stakeholders involved in the implementation of the programme.
In this role you will have the responsibility of ensuring that the TB and HIV programmes are of the highest quality and are gender-aware. You will develop well-prepared, timely and detailed implementation plans and you will ensure that compliance with contractual obligations is maintained over the life of the grant.
- We are looking to recruit an individual with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in public health, health sciences, social sciences, technical sciences, management or related disciplines. You will have excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills and you will have extensive experience in TB/HIV programming.
- You will have knowledge of development issues, trends and implications for community development, including public health and you will also have experience with the Global Fund or with projects related to it.
- To be successful in this role, you will have an excellent command for spoken French and also be able to write well in English.
- You will have the ability to use and interpret complex sets of information for effective decision making and you will also have strong experience in coaching, supervising and training.
